A senior healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Wheat is uniquely positioned for this role given his solid background in finance and extensive knowledge of healthcare system operations.
In this role, Mr. Wheat will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring that the quality of healthcare in the healthcare system meets the mission and strategic goals of Eisenhower Health while working with physicians and executives. across the organization to execute strategic plans and maintain employee and patient satisfaction.
Mr. Wheat has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eisenhower Health since 2013. Most recently, he also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Eisenhower Medical Associates.

Prior to joining Eisenhower, Mr. Wheat worked with Tenet Healthcare in several leadership roles in several Tenet markets, including as COO for Desert Regional Medical Center, CFO for Tenet Central States region. Healthcare, which included 15 hospitals, and CFO of North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell, Georgia.
A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Wheat received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University and a Masters of Health Administration from the University of Southern California.
